Jackson County Comprehensive Plan

Please fill out ONE survey per household. Jackson County has started the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan. The purpose is to identify opportunities, strengths, and needs to organize public policy to address them in a manner that makes the best and most appropriate use of County resources. It will also describe a desired future for the community over the next 20 years and establish goals to move toward that future. The Plan will be used by both elected officials and County staff to assist with, and provide a rational basis for, local land use decisions within the community. Jackson County’s last Plan was created in 2010. Wisconsin Statutes require that municipalities update their Comprehensive Plan at least once every 10 years.
